Description

A delightful mix of creamy cheesecake, crunchy apples, and sweet caramel in a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the pan and spread evenly.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars. Serve chilled.

Notes

Serve plain or with whipped cream. For added sweetness, drizzle caramel sauce over each bar.
