A delightful mix of creamy cheesecake, crunchy apples, and sweet caramel in a delicious dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Gently fold in the diced apples and cinnamon.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the pan and spread evenly.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars. Serve chilled.
Notes
Serve plain or with whipped cream. For added sweetness, drizzle caramel sauce over each bar.
