Indulgent brownies topped with fresh strawberries and a rich chocolate ganache, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the sugars until combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.
- Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the batter.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the strawberries and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- For the chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Let the brownies cool completely, then pour the ganache over the top.
- Allow the ganache to set before slicing into squares and serving.

For best results, use fresh, firm strawberries. Let brownies cool completely before adding ganache to ensure proper setting.
