Description

Indulgent brownies topped with fresh strawberries and a rich chocolate ganache, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the sugars until combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.
  4. Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
  6. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the strawberries and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. For the chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  10. Let the brownies cool completely, then pour the ganache over the top.
  11. Allow the ganache to set before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, firm strawberries. Let brownies cool completely before adding ganache to ensure proper setting.
