Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing out the top.
- Sprinkle the additional granulated sugar on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or refrigerate for longer freshness. You can also freeze for up to three months.
