Description
Delicious and light churro bites, coated with cinnamon sugar, made effortlessly in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- Cooking spray
- Additional sugar and cinnamon for coating
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add flour, stirring until a dough forms.
- Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
- Stir in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Fit a piping bag with a star tip and fill it with the churro dough.
- Pipe small bites onto parchment paper, then transfer to the air fryer basket.
- Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Toss churro bites in the sugar-cinnamon mixture before serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, or fresh fruit for a delightful treat.
