Description

A delicious and easy slow-cooked teriyaki chicken dish that’s perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving


Instructions

  1. In a Crockpot, combine chicken breast, teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sliced bell pepper, and sliced onion.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Shred the chicken in the sauce and mix well.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For added texture, garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds. You can also serve in lettuce wraps.
