Description
A soothing, anti-bloating tea made with ginger, lemon, and Ceylon cinnamon. This nighttime cinnamon lemon tea for fat loss supports digestion and reduces cravings for better sleep and gentle fat-burning results.
Ingredients
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 2 cups filtered water
- ½ Ceylon cinnamon stick
- 1 strip of lemon peel
- Fresh lemon slices or juice, for serving
- Sweetener of choice (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and grate the fresh ginger using a microplane or box grater.
- Add the ginger, water, cinnamon stick, and lemon peel to a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and let it barely simmer for 5 minutes to infuse.
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a teapot or cups.
- Add lemon juice or slices and sweeten to taste. Serve hot.
Notes
- For Ginger Lemon Tea: omit cinnamon.
- For Ginger Cinnamon Tea: omit lemon.
- For stronger flavor, simmer an additional 2–3 minutes.
