Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 8 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk (2%)
- 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if necessary and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, pinching the seams together to form a crust.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Pour the egg mixture on top of the sausage, ensuring it covers everything.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and monterey jack cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.
