Description

Delicious soft and chewy cookies with a delightful mix of strawberry flavor and creamy white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup crushed strawberry-flavored cereal (e.g., Special K Strawberry)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the strawberry jam, crushed cereal, and white chocolate chips gently.
  7. Drop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden at the edges.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra special treat, consider adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of warm cookies or drizzling with melted white chocolate before serving.
