Description

Delightful cinnamon sugar blondies with a rich, buttery flavor and a sweet cinnamon crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9&215;13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, mixing well.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the additional granulated sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle it over the top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For a richer taste, consider adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips. Best served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
