Delightful cinnamon sugar blondies with a rich, buttery flavor and a sweet cinnamon crust, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9&215;13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, mixing well.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together the additional granulated sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle it over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a richer taste, consider adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips. Best served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
