Description

A quick and customizable breakfast or snack combining creamy yogurt, tart strawberries, and crunchy granola. Perfectly layered for a refreshing, guilt-free treat with vibrant flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • Vanilla yogurt, 1 cup
  • Strawberries, 1 cup, sliced
  • Sweetener, 1-2 tsp (e.g., monkfruit or brown sugar)
  • Granola, 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Choose a 16-ounce glass jar with a wide mouth
  2. Cover counter surfaces with parchment or plastic wrap
  3. Wash and dry strawberries completely before slicing
  4. Add 1/3 cup yogurt to the base of the jar, smoothing it evenly
  5. Spread 1/3 to 1/2 cup sliced strawberries in a single layer
  6. Sprinkle 1-2 generous pinches of sweetener on top of the strawberries
  7. Add 1 tablespoon granola directly over the sweetened berries
  8. Repeat the yogurt, strawberry, and sweetener layers two more times
  9. Cap the jar tightly or cover with a fermentation lid
  10. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving

Notes

  • Use thick yogurt like Greek or full-fat for structure
  • Pre-sweeten berries with 1/2 tsp sweetener for 15 minutes before layering for better flavor
  • Homemade granola enhances quality and reduces added sugars
  • Optional: Add chopped nuts or honey for extra sweetness and crunch
